Activities Department Manager

We are looking for someone to oversee the Activities Department and 3 staff members.
Are you an artsy person?  Do you love crafts?  Pottery? Reading? Playing cards or bingo?  Then this may be a fun job for you!
The Activities Department staff work with the Manor residents doing the above types of things.  Yup, you get paid for chatting, helping with get together, and playing games and such!
What’s not to love?
Activities department staff are in the building 7 days a week and on holidays.  These days are rotated among staff.
Hours run anywhere from morning to evening depending upon the shift.
This is a full time position, that requires rotating weekends and often holidays.
The Activities Department Manager organizes events and structures activities of the department to ensure compliance with state and federal requirements.  The Manager also coordinates a large volunteer staff and therefore must be able to  maintain amazing community relations.  Will establish policies and procedures, and continually evaluates and monitors staff performance.  Documents staff activities in appropriate records.  Participates in management meetings, holds department meetings, prepares and is responsible for annual budget.
The Manager often drives a small resident bus, and our handicapped van, therefore a valid driver’s license is mandatory, along with an acceptable driving record.
The Manager must also be a C.N.A. licensed in the state of Wyoming.
Most of all, the Activities Department Manager must serve as a role model for their staff:  Have an outgoing, upbeat personality, handles stress and multiple demands with ease, and helps create a positive, energized and inviting environment for residents and staff alike.
