Information Systems Dept. Manager

Weston County Health Services is searching for that special someone to lead our Technology Team!

Supervises I.S. Department and takes overall responsibility for all technology systems in the facilities. Maintains virtual and physical server environment as well as workstations and peripheral equipment such as firewalls, routers, switches, scanners, security cameras, paging system and printers for the facility. Assists in troubleshooting vendor supported systems, including upgrades/updates on software. Oversees IP phone systems, ensuring the facility’s needs for 24/7 communication. Performs network administration duties, setting up new staff on the network, deleted and/or disabling inactive staff from the network. Supports HIPAA compliance by enforcing log on/off username/password procedures and is familiar with HIPAA Security standards. Ability to be able to handle responsibilities calmly when under pressure and able to provide support to end users with patience and respect. Must be able to prioritize multiple projects. Diligent about documentation and communication to the staff about any changes made in any of the systems to ensure cohesiveness within the computer network and I.S. Department. Prepares I.S. budget for department and facility. Supervises one department staff member.


-Associates Degree (two year college or technical school) in Computer Science is preferred, or a significant combination of training and experience.
-Must demonstrate a working knowledge of various computer systems, hardware, software, network and desktop applications. Proven experience with server environments is required.
-Experience working with all levels of personnel is a plus.
-Prior management experience preferred.
-Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
-Good problem solving and organizational skills.
