Accounting Manager (FT)

As the Accounting Manager, this position is responsible for supervising, tracking, and evaluating day-to-day operations, managing expense reports and reimbursements, entering financial transactions and reconciling invoices and statements with the overall goal of assisting the organization to run smoothly ensuring transparency and efficiency.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Accounting
- Manages and oversees month and year end processes.
- Manages and oversees accounts payable and all account receivable except EPIC
- Manages and oversees cash receipts.
- Manages and oversees the general ledger. (GL)
- Manages and oversees revenue and expenditure variance analysis.
- Manages and oversees capital assets and bank reconciliations.
- Manages and oversees check runs.
- Manages and oversees fixed asset and debt activity.
- Maintains and updates tracking spreadsheets for accuracy as required.
- Maintains records as required.
- Participates in quarterly and annual audits as required.
- Complete all accounting quarterly and Annual state reports
- Assist Auditors in all the auditors needs as able.
- Manage the applicable Accounting System and updates for all modules exception of HR module
- Manage and work with Auditors on the Cost Model
- Manage all bank account information and access.
- Keep accurate Patient counts and back up
- Create work improvement processes
- Budgeting
- Manages and oversees budgeting and cash forecasting.
- Assist in create work improvement processes
- Account payable & Payroll
- Manages and oversees payroll.
- Perform all Accounts Payable & Payroll duties when need arises
- Assist in create work improvement processes
- Materials
- Replenishes supplies as needed.
- Perform all Materials purchasing agent duties when needed.
- Perform all Materials Clark duties when needed.
- Manage and assist in end of year Inventory count
- Assist in create work improvement processes
Qualifications required are an Associates in Accounting or Business Administration preferred or 1 year of experience in accounting, bookkeeping or finance or a combination of experience and education. Needs an exceptional knowledge of bookkeeping, accounting and financial terminology and processes along with good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors and strong written and oral communicational skills. Position required light to moderate work with 50 pounds maximum weight to lift and carry including reaching, bending, stooping, and handling objects with hands and/or fingers, talking and/or hearing, and seeing.
