Long Term Care Compliance and Education Nurse (FT)

A CE Nurse is a supervisory position at the nursing home and will be expected to coach, mentor, execute plans of correction, and when needed initiate disciplinary actions. Assists with any nursing duties as needed, will act as charge nurse every other weekend. CE Nurse assists DON with program execution, follow through, quality implementation and any resulting  mentoring, education and plans of correction. They will back up DON in their absence handling attendance and staffing issues. Also, will continually perform QA surveillance and observation daily throughout all shifts, all halls, and all tiers of nursing. They will  address issues as they occur and actively seek out teaching moments.
