As a designated area trauma center, we ensure top-tier care for trauma patients.
Coordinated Transfers
For patients requiring specialized care beyond our capabilities, we coordinate life-flight services with hospitals in Rapid City, Casper, and Scottsbluff. We also collaborate with Colorado’s burn center and Denver Children’s Hospital for critical pediatric cases.
Telemedicine Services
Starting November 2014, WCHS partnered with Avera Health to provide emergency telemedicine services. These services connect patients to Emergency Medicine Board-Certified Physicians for advanced care when needed.
