Emergency Care

24-Hour Emergency Services

The emergency department of Weston County Health Services is dedicated to providing excellence in patient care within the mission, vision and values of the facility. Our emergency department is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The highly skilled physicians and nurses are trained providers of advanced cardiac life support, pediatric advanced life support, and basic trauma life support. As a designated area trauma center, our physicians are also trained in advanced trauma life support. We coordinate life flight services with hospitals in Rapid City, Casper and Scottsbluff to arrange emergency transfers for critical patients needing services beyond the capabilities of WCHS. We also have arrangements with the burn center in Colorado and Denver Children’s hospital for critical pediatric patients.

WCHS will also be a provider of eEmergency services through Avera Health in November 2014. eEmergency offers emergency telemedicine services from ER physicians that are emergency Medicine Board Certified Physicians.

For all of your emergency needs, WCHS emergency services staff is here to serve you and your family.
